As a Business Development Executive for wiring harness products, your role involves managing customer requirements, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring timely execution of orders to achieve sales targets. - Identify new customers in automotive, electrical, and industrial segments
Develop new business opportunities for wiring harness assemblies
Generate RFQs and convert inquiries into orders
Expand business with existing customers
Act as the primary point of contact for customers
Maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions
Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations
Coordinate with engineering and costing teams for RFQ submission
Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations
Follow up with customers for approvals and order closure
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
Ensure smooth order processing from receipt to dispatch
Coordinate with PPC, production, and purchase teams
Track order status and update customers regularly
Ensure timely delivery as per customer schedule
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Prepare sales forecasts and demand projections
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions
Work closely with NPD, PPC, Production, Quality, and Purchase teams
Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal execution
Support new project development and SOP readiness
Study market trends, competitor activity, and pricing
Identify new product opportunities and customer segments
Provide feedback to management for strategic decisions
Maintain records of RFQs, quotations, orders, and customer communications
Prepare MIS reports on sales, pipeline, and order status
Update CRM/ERP systems regularly

Educational Qualification:
BE / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical
MBA (Marketing / Sales) preferred
Experience:
2-6 years in sales, preferably in wiring harness / automotive industry
