As a Business Research Manager, you will be responsible for preparing various business research reports, client proposals, samples, white papers, thought leadership papers, and summaries involving qualitative and quantitative analysis. You will attend pre- and post-sales client calls to explain research deliverables and support client understanding. Your role involves identifying growth opportunities within industries and supporting research and sales teams. Additionally, you will manage and mentor a team of 35 analysts/interns, including supervision, training, quality control, and timely delivery of assignments. Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications Required:
MBA or PGDM qualification
Strong numerical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills with sound business acumen
Solid understanding of finance fundamentals and financial analysis
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to create professional, client-ready PowerPoint presentations and Excel models
Flexibility to adapt to varied engagements, working hours, and environments
Willingness to travel to client locations in India and abroad

Integrate innovative technologies to support product and business development initiatives
Conduct primary and secondary research independently or in collaboration with team members
Manage request intake and participate in project scoping calls
Perform company analysis including business models, revenue streams, strategy, competitive positioning, M&A history, organizational structure, key management, SWOT, and recent developments
Conduct industry analysis covering value chain, market size, growth outlook, trends, drivers, inhibitors, challenges, and competitive landscape
Apply analytical frameworks such as Porters Five Forces and PESTLE
Analyze financial statements including income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, ratios, and segment performance
Build statistical forecasting models using regression and time-series analysis in MS Excel
