Job Description: As a Finance Intern, you won't just be fetching coffee—you will be diving deep into real financial data that impacts our supply chain. You will support the corporate finance team in forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing sales trends to help drive profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis: Assist in tracking and analyzing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including revenue growth, gross margins, and customer acquisition costs. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts, helping to compare actual financial results against targets. Cost & Supply Chain Insights: Help analyze ingredient sourcing costs, manufacturing variances, and logistics expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities. Market & Competitor Research: Conduct ad-hoc research on trends in the pet food industry, e-commerce channels, and competitor financial performance. Reporting: Assist in preparing weekly and monthly financial decks for senior leadership and department heads (Sales, Marketing, Ops). What We Are Looking For Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field (Rising Juniors/Seniors preferred). Technical Skills: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel (you should be comfortable with formulas like VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables). Exposure to financial modeling or data tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and a knack for turning raw numbers into meaningful stories and actionable insights. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate across different departments. Passion: A genuine love for animals and an interest in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or pet care industry! Qualifications: Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field.
