ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU. Serve as administrative support to records functions and provide support to the Enrollment Advising team. Responsible for processing student applications and maintenance of student records while ensuring compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Serve as Transcript Evaluator for Collaborative Governance and Integrated Operations (CGIO) programs on Dallas Campus. Basic Responsibilities A. Transcript Evaluation Management B. Quality Assurance check on all assigned CGIO applications C. Student record support Essential Duties Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions. A. Transcript Evaluation Management a. Process pre-evaluations for incoming students into CGIO division b. Manages communication with CGIO program directors regarding transcript evaluations. c. Liaison with Abilene Registrar's office in regards to transfer credits. d. Communicate with advising team on incoming students who will need leveling courses B. Quality Assurance check on applications for CGIO programs a. Manage final applications with feedback from CGIO program directors in Salesforce b. Ensure student applications are processed through main student record system (banner/Workday) C. Student record support a. Processes documentation for record changes such as phone number, address, name changes. b. Processes other documentation as needed for the permanent student record. Professional Development Requirements: Skills a. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and enrollment management systems (i.e. Banner, Salesforce, DegreeWorks etc.). b. Demonstrable experience from successfully working in a team environment. c. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. d. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively. e. Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, customer service, attention to detail and communication skills are essential. f. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. b. Two years administrative experience required. c. Experience in a university student records, registrar, or admissions office preferred. B. Personal a. Collaborative nature. b. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written ability to communicate with a diverse academic community. c. Desire for meaningful work and mission orientation. Physical Requirements: A. Work is performed in an office environment; must have the ability to sit for long periods of time (6-8 hours). B. Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment and able to perform work at acomputer. C. May be required to the manual operation of general office equipment. D. Limited travel may be required – locations vary and some overnight travel may be necessary.
