SAP Advanced Business Application Programming Developer (ABAP)

Qualifications and Skills required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

• Excellent communication and presentation skills As an SAP ABAP Developer/SAP InHouse Consultant FICO & ABAP at our global ERP environments, your primary responsibilities include Requirement Analysis, Development and Customization, Debugging and Support, Performance Optimization, Collaboration with different teams, Testing and Quality Assurance, and Documentation. You are accountable for ensuring SAP integrity and compliance with all policies, controls, and standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge and learn new skills in a dynamic global environment operating in 40 countries at Sulzer. Your key responsibilities and tasks will involve:

• Designing, coding, and testing ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows

• Developing custom applications and interfaces using technologies like BAPIs, BADIs, IDocs, and Web Services

• Partnering with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand requirements and create technical specifications

• Tuning and optimizing existing ABAP code for performance, efficiency, and debugging technical issues

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications and test plans

• Providing technical support, bug fixes, and assisting with system upgrades and migrations

• Participating in the full software development lifecycle and mentoring junior developers (Senior roles)

• Managing workload, tracking data defects, and implementing lessons learned systematically

• Travel may be required based on project needs
