As a Corporate Communications Manager at Workday, your role will involve driving a strategic external communications program for Workday India in partnership with the corporate communications and marketing teams. You will be responsible for managing executive communications originating from the India president, as well as handling media relations to secure coverage of customer stories, articles, and executive interviews. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams within the organization to ensure alignment of messages and narratives. Your role will also involve partnering with global and AP&J Corporate Communications teams on internal events for executive visits to India. Key Responsibilities:
Drive a strategic external communications program for Workday India in collaboration with corporate communications and marketing teams. - Manage executive communications from the India president. - Handle media relations to secure coverage of customer stories, articles, and executive interviews. - Work closely with the head of corporate communications in AP&J on issues management and crisis response. - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop presentations and keynote addresses for the India president. - Partner with other teams and stakeholders within Corporate Communications, Marketing, and other parts of the organization to ensure message alignment. - Assist in internal events for executive visits to India in partnership with the global Communications team, Executive Assistants, and AP&J Corporate Communications team. Qualifications Required:
10+ years of experience in corporate communications, including media relations and executive communications in a high-tech company. - Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic communications for senior leaders. - Established relationships with local journalists and analysts in India, along with experience in working with a PR agency. - Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messaging and write in a simple, direct, warm, and friendly tone. - Outstanding writing and editing skills for diverse multimedia communication channels. - Technology industry expertise, especially in the software market (SaaS experience is a plus). - Fluent English language skills are essential.
