As a Logistics Executive, your role involves coordinating and managing the movement of goods and services from suppliers to customers. You will oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, by coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory. This includes forecasting demand, managing stock levels, and implementing inventory control measures. - Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, including selecting carriers, negotiating freight rates, and ensuring timely delivery using various modes of transportation. - Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Optimize warehouse layout, implement efficient storage systems, and ensure accurate inventory records. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. This may involve negotiating contracts with suppliers and carriers. - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing logistics operations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments. Qualifications Required:
Education: A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Logistics and Transportation (CPLP) is a plus. - Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Experience with logistics software and systems such as ERP, WMS, and TMS is advantageous. - Language: Proficiency in English is preferred. The company offers a competitive salary range of 50,000.00 - 60,000.00 per month along with benefits like health insurance and performance bonuses. The work schedule is day shift, and the preferred work location is in person.
