As a React Engineer (SDE-2) at Walnutt's partner company based in Bangalore, you will be part of a fast-growing startup focusing on an AI platform driven by autonomous agents for automating customer support through various communication channels like chat, email, and voice. This platform serves as the interface layer for AI systems, handling end-to-end conversations, operating across multiple channels, and continuously learning and improving. Your responsibilities will include:
Working on core product surfaces that shape user interactions with AI systems in production
Developing core frontend surfaces such as dashboards, conversation views, workflows, analytics
Designing interfaces that simplify complex AI behavior for users
Building real-time systems and API-driven UIs
Making decisions on performance, scalability, and frontend architecture To excel in this role, you should have:
2-4 years of experience in building frontend applications
A track record of shipping features that are actively used by real users
Strong focus on flows, systems, and user experience rather than just components
Exposure to fast-paced environments or a strong desire to work in one
Proficiency in using AI-native / agentic IDEs like Claude Code, Cursor, etc. Your responsibilities will include:
