** Internal Workers – Please log into your Workday account to apply ** Huntington Hospital Employee Login Expectations: Act as a leader and internal consultant to assigned department, committee and/or specialty section regarding peer review, specialty specific studies and performance improvement activities. Collaborates with physicians in determining peer review indicators, what quality measures to study, developing appropriate study designs and data collection tools, appropriate data collation, analysis and summarization. This responsibility also includes facilitating discussions and providing appropriate and on-going feedback and follow-up to ensure sustained improvements. Communicates results to all stakeholders. Assures compliance with TJC standards and CMS regulations. This position may require flexibility of hours. Position is hybrid. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: 5+ years nursing experience in an acute care setting. Critical Care or ED experience preferred. Peer review experience preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, and computer skills (Microsoft Office). Requires the ability to work independently and to accept responsibility for complex and sensitive decision-making as it relates to the position. Outstanding organizational skills are necessary to manage many competing timetables and responsibilities. Ability to multi-task. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
