As a Data Management Associate within the Chief Data Office (CDO) at JPMorgan Chase, your role will be crucial in delivering business impact through the transformation of Data Quality management and data lineage. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB), other Line Of Businesses (LOBs), and Corporate Functions to ensure fit-for-purpose data while leveraging industry best practices and insights from other J.P. Morgan business units. This position offers you the opportunity to be part of a high-profile team at JPMorgan Chase and play a key role in supporting one of the Banks significant change programs. **Key Responsibilities:**
Implement and support Data Quality (DQ) practices across the CIB to align with the Firms broader efforts related to BCBS 239
Identify and document data lineage to track the end-to-end data journey from creation to consumption for regulatory compliance, e.g., BCBS 239
Collaborate with operations, technology, and product control teams to document data quality controls along the data lineage for critical data flows
Foster strong partnerships across CIB sub-LOBs and corporate functions to bolster data quality initiatives
Offer data quality advisory services on specific high-profile data issues/initiatives through focused project management and in-depth business analysis
Expedite root cause analysis and resolution of data quality issues through effective program governance, process/data mapping, and data investigations
Utilize tools like Alteryx and visualization tools such as Tableau/Qlikview to analyze large datasets for actionable insights and issue identification
**Qualifications Required:**
Experience in financial services with a background in data analytics, data management, project management, or business analysis
Strong grasp of data governance, data quality, data lineage, and metadata management concepts
Prior involvement in projects and programs centered around data quality, data lineage, data control documentation, and metadata management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think holistically and communicate effectively with stakeholders of varying seniority levels
Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large datasets in Excel using pivots, formulas, charts, etc. - Effective communication, presentation (both oral and written), and influencing skills
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, strong time management skills, efficient multitasking capabilities, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet multiple business demands promptly and to a high standard
Basic understanding of the company's business practices and familiarity with its products and services
