As the Hardware and City Tech Product Leader, you lead the product management organization responsible for defining "what we build and why." You oversee a high-performing team of product managers and specialists to set the vision and roadmap for our physical and digital vehicle experience, ensuring our vehicles set the standard for industry leadership for cities, riders, and our operations. We are looking for a highly tenured Senior Director to step into this critical role for Lime. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates to reside in San Francisco, CA to maintain effective collaboration across teams. If not local, travel to San Francisco is expected (typically 1x per month). What You'll Do:
About You:
People Leadership: Extensive experience managing and scaling product management teams in a fast-paced environment. Proven leader of leaders. - Integrated HW/SW Experience: Proven track record of leading product management for complex, integrated products that span both hardware and software. The ideal candidate is familiar with the technologies at the heart of a SW-defined vehicle (IoT, embedded SW, and Computer Vision)
Hands-on and Curious: You are eager to roll up your sleeves, dive into the details of a hardware prototype, or spend time in the field to understand operational and rider pain points firsthand. You’re curious, and you follow those curiosities to build better products for our customers. - External-Facing Spokesperson: Experience presenting technical products to external stakeholders, regulators, or government officials in high-pressure environments. - Strategic Product Vision: Experience leading the end-to-end lifecycle of physical products, from initial concept and global pilots to full-scale deployment. - Systems Thinking: Ability to define high-leverage product requirements that allow engineering to build scalable solutions across multiple vehicle modes. - Experimentation and User Research: Experienced in using experimentation and User Research to make informed product decisions. - Financial Competency: Strong ability to deep-dive into financial analysis and modeling to ensure we are making high-quality, data-driven investment decisions. The base salary range listed reflects what Lime reasonably expects to offer for this role, with the final base salary determined by objective factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience.
