As an Investment Counsellor at HSBC Wealth & Personal Banking, your role will be crucial in providing financial analysis and investment recommendations to customers with Funds under management of greater than INR 10M. Your responsibilities will include:
Strengthening HSBC's image as a leading wealth provider by offering clients access to advanced technical product expertise. - Supporting Private Relationship Managers (PRMs) in gaining clients' confidence and trust in HSBC's capabilities, increasing the quality of needs fulfilled for target clients, and deepening client relationships. - Assisting PRMs in identifying client needs, proposing wealth solutions, conducting technical analysis, and presenting solutions effectively. - Conducting portfolio reviews, assessing product suitability, identifying opportunities, and managing risks for clients. - Collaborating with PRMs during client meetings to provide technical advice and acting as a second point of contact for specific products and solutions. - Enhancing PRMs' technical knowledge through effective on-the-job coaching and training. - Taking ownership of Investment Sales and Distribution business for the assigned patch, focusing on strategic objectives such as AUM Growth, Net Sales consistency, PRM productivity, and client coverage. - Analyzing portfolios of 35-40 customers monthly and engaging with them to provide advice based on sound investment expertise. Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a Bank or Asset Management Companies. - MBA from a reputed institute preferred, Post Graduate Degree or professional qualifications like CA also preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement skills. - Demonstrate behaviors consistent with HSBC Values. - Expertise in bank's systems and processes, sales, financial planning, communication, and industry knowledge. - Excellent interpersonal skills, coaching techniques, planning, and organizing abilities.
