Role Overview The Community Liaison Officer (CLO) acts as the key link between the Project and local communities, ensuring clear communication, effective stakeholder engagement, and inclusive participation. The role supports community relations activities, manages feedback channels, and contributes to the successful delivery of environmental and social commitments. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Serve as the main point of contact for communities and external stakeholders Communicate project activities, progress, and potential environmental and social impacts Support implementation of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) Gather and document stakeholder feedback and ensure it is considered in project processes Build and maintain positive, constructive relationships with communities Community Engagement Activities Organize and facilitate community and stakeholder meetings (including agendas, invitations, and minutes) Support community committees and engagement initiatives Promote awareness of project activities and available feedback channels Collaborate with the Community Engagement Lead on engagement strategies and priorities Feedback & Issue Management Receive and document community feedback, questions, and complaints Support the tracking and follow-up of issues in line with established processes Contribute to fair and timely resolution by coordinating with internal stakeholders Ensure inclusive access to feedback mechanisms, particularly for vulnerable groups Monitoring & Reporting Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions and engagement activities Prepare regular reports on community feedback, engagement activities, and key trends Profile & Qualifications Fluency in Dutch and English (essential) Experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or similar roles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage sensitive topics with professionalism and discretion Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups Key Competencies Relationship building and stakeholder management Cultural awareness and inclusivity Problem-solving and communication skills Integrity and confidentiality What we offer A strategic role in a fast‑growing market.
