Job Description Purpose: The Buyer, Indirect is responsible for managing indirect procurement activities to support Kraft Heinz operations across Japan and Korea (NEA region). This role will partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to deliver cost efficiencies, ensure supply continuity, and drive value through strategic sourcing initiatives. Job Duties: Manage Indirect spend portfolio to support Kraft Heinz operations across Japan and Korea. Categories under Indirect include Sales & Marketing, Logistics (Warehouse), IT/Technology, Leases & Rental, HR Services, Facilities Management, Travel, Utilities, Fees and Consultancies. Closely work with the ANZ Indirect Team and Global Category Leads based in Amsterdam to develop sourcing strategies and implement these locally within NEA. Support end-to-end procurement process, which includes identification and scoping of requirements, developing procurement strategies, supplier development, RFP, cost analysis, contract development and negotiation, contract life cycle management and supplier relationship management. Be involved in value chain analysis and value engineering activities to deliver productivity improvements, cost efficiency and savings. Support the Direct Procurement team as needed to ensure overall procurement effectiveness. Manage tail spend to improve visibility, compliance, and efficiency. Travel may be required. Required skills and qualifications: Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency. Strong analytical skills and intermediate or advanced proficiency in excel. Knowledge of contract development and implementation. Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills to successfully manage suppliers and internal stakeholders. Ability to manage projects involving several stakeholders with varying requirements. Highly resilient and excellent time and priority management. 1-2 years' experience in Logistics Procurement in a manufacturing/industrial environment (FMCG/food manufacturing, highly advantageous) is preferred.
