Full-Stack Developer | AE Studio

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy full-stack applications from prototype to production
• Build scalable APIs and integrate AI models with tangible impact
• Develop AI pipelines including data ingestion, embeddings, retrieval and orchestration
• Engineer robust prompting strategies and performance guardrails for production
• Integrate AI features into full-stack apps with clean architecture and CI/CD
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver refined product experiences
• Continuously evaluate new AI tools and models for performance and cost

Who You Are

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Track record shipping production applications
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases and orchestration
• Strong command of modern web stacks (React/Next.js, Node.js, Python/FastAPI) and cloud infrastructure
• Deep understanding of architecture, scalability, performance and security
• Commitment to shipping with testing, code reviews and observability

Nice to Have

• Experience fine-tuning models or training custom models
• Contributions to open-source AI or developer tooling
• Mature prompt engineering and evaluation approach
• Background in data engineering or MLOps
• Passion for AI alignment and ethical development

AE offers salary range $115k–$185k for LA-based candidates, with equity in client projects and internal ventures. We embrace remote collaboration and value builders who write prompt code that works today and scales.
