Job Title: Desktop Engineer (Off-roll)
Department: IT Infrastructure
Reports To: IT Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Respond to and resolve IT support tickets related to end-user devices and
applications. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Support application installation, upgrades, and patch management. Maintain asset inventory of hardware and software. Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and user
provisioning. Ensure systems comply with security standards and company policies. Provide support for conferencing tools (Google Meet, Teams, etc.) and local AV
equipment. Escalate complex issues to relevant teams when necessary. Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent
experience). 1.5+ years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role. Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, antivirus tools, and remote support
tools. Understanding of basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP config)
