As a Procurement Specialist at our company, your role will involve implementing the global category strategy at the local level or implementing the sourcing business plan for your area of responsibility. You will be responsible for supervising the implementation of sourcing plans for the sub-category, delivering sub-category savings targets, and providing input into the overall category segmentation. Additionally, you will handle strategic sub-category supplier relationships, implement key performance indicators, and report on supplier performance. You will also be involved in creating, applying, and reviewing major contracts for the sub-category. Key Responsibilities:
Essential Requirements:
Vendor Management experience with large global vendors
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in equipment and maintenance services
Data analysis skills with the ability to navigate Novartis platforms/systems
Project Management experience
Ability to identify & deliver value creation projects
Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving skills
Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders across multiple business units
Cross-Cultural Experience
