The Project Engineer is responsible for automation QCS project deliveries (incl. technical implementation) ensuring timeliness, cost efficiency and meeting our customer expectations. On this position, you will work with our customers from Pulp & Paper Process businesses. For this position you will be responsible for: Participate in project planning including overall schedule, risks & opportunities analysis, and change management, according to Valmet project execution model and customer contracts Being responsible for project technical standards, solutions, and project documentation Being responsible for project quality milestones review and required quality assurance documentation Performing and supervising Valmet QCS engineering. Customer acceptance tests for QCS projects Participating in project feedback meetings with project team and relevant stakeholders (Sales, PG) Providing or supervising training for customers (operations and maintenance personnel) Supporting Sales department with analysis of customer requirements and existing constraints Maintaining excellent communication with project team (incl. Project Manager, Coordinator, etc.) and other stakeholders Position requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electric, Mechatronics, Computer, or related areas). Knowledge of QCS engineering tools and controls Knowledge and practical experience with automation programming languages Process knowhow (Pulp & Paper) will be considered as a strength. Fluent English (both written and oral) is mandatory Willingness to business travels (up to 50% of working time) Personal Requirements Ability and willingness to take over project responsibilities Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with others as well as independently Problem solving mindset and organizational skills Excellent commitment and proactive attitude Availability to reside in Sorocaba-SP.
