Software Engineer - Backend

As a Backend Software Engineer at our company located in Chennai, India, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Handy Terminal device. These are essential components of our logistics product suite that interact with our ASRS systems. Your primary responsibility will be to build and upkeep a robust, tested, high-performance backend architecture encompassing databases and APIs utilized across various deployments. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain a pivotal component that facilitates the smooth flow of supply chain operations. - Improve code quality, ensure extensive test coverage through continuous enhancement, and collaborate with diverse development teams to integrate solutions and align best practices. Qualifications Required:

• 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Python, focusing on versions 3.10 and above. - Practical experience with web frameworks like FastAPI or Django. - Strong understanding of SQL database principles, particularly with PostgreSQL. - Proficiency in testing and building automation tools such as pytest, GitHub Actions, and Docker.
