This is not a social media specialist role. This is a content operations role.
You won't just execute - you'll set the strategy for how we distribute, test, and scale content across every platform. You'll own the entire production pipeline - from raw footage to published output across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond. You'll manage our video editing team of 5 people, build the systems that make great content repeatable, and ensure every long-form video becomes pieces of platform-native content. You'll report directly to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the Paid team to what's working across channels. If you've scaled content through strong systems, managed editors to a high standard, and care as much about the process as the output - this role was designed for you.
What You'll Own
Design, document, and run the Content Waterfall System - turning every long-form video into platform-native short-form content and social posts
Own the organic content calendar and publishing cadence across all channels
Manage the video editing team day-to-day - review all cuts for quality, pacing, hooks, and brand alignment
Run the weekly editor meeting; hold the team to deadlines and quality standards
Own thumbnail and title testing strategy in collaboration with Head of Marketing- drive CTR improvement across YouTube and social
Track organic performance and deliver weekly reports; iterate based on data
Create SOPs and repeatable workflows for content production and editing
Work closely with the Paid team to winning hooks, themes, and messaging
Support the rollout of additional channels (LinkedIn, blog, podcast) as the brand scales
Monitor and maintain brand reputation across key content and community platforms. Requirements
3+ years managing content production or editing teams in async, remote-first environments
Proven experience reviewing video edits and giving quality, pacing, and creative feedback
Experience with short-form content distribution - Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok
Experience building Content Waterfall systems, SOPs, and repeatable workflow
Analytics literate - you know which metrics matter and make decisions based on data
Background in coaching, info-products, or online education (preferred)
