As a Senior Procurement Analyst at our client's company, you will be a key member of the strategic sourcing team, responsible for optimizing purchasing processes, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies across various departments. Your role will involve analyzing spending patterns, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. - Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key categories of goods and services. - Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service level agreements. - Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and risk assessment. - Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities. - Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement support. - Prepare detailed reports and presentations on procurement activities, savings achieved, and future recommendations. - Utilize procurement software and tools for streamlining processes and enhancing data analysis. - Mentor junior members of the procurement team and contribute to knowledge sharing. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management. - Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in interpreting complex data sets. - Proficiency in procurement software such as SAP Ariba or Oracle, along with advanced Excel skills. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Understanding of global supply chain dynamics and risk management. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing collaboration with independent work. - Experience in the Gurugram, Haryana, IN area is an asset. - Relevant professional certifications like CPSM or CIPS are a plus.
