As an experienced Java Developer at Socit Gnrale, your primary responsibilities will include:
Independently designing components, developing code, and testing case scenarios using relevant software craftsmanship principles to meet acceptance criteria. - Completing the assigned learning path and actively participating in team ceremonies such as agile practices or chapter meetings. - Ensuring the delivery of high-quality clean code and design that can be re-used, following all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in-line with Agile and IT craftsmanship principles. - Collaborating with other development teams to define and implement APIs and rules for data access. - Communicating effectively with customers, stakeholders, and partners in a timely manner. - Identifying production improvement areas and performing daily checks to maintain required standards and production processes. - Providing suggestions for automating repetitive production activities and conducting bug-free release validations. - Managing the CI/CD pipeline and assisting in developing guidelines for the team. - Supporting level 2/level 3 production support and expanding coverage of data models, data dictionary, and data pipeline standards. Qualifications required for this role:
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Java development. - Deep expertise and hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS. - Good knowledge of RESTful API implementation and problem management. - Clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and process orientation, preferably with experience in Agile or Continuous Delivery (CD) projects. - Strong fundamentals in Core Programming, Object-Oriented design, and Design patterns. - Exposure to Postgres SQL DB and proficiency in writing SQLs, stored procedures, and functions. - Experience in creating and executing unit tests using a test-driven approach with JUnit or equivalent tools. - Familiarity with the Investment banking domain and CI/CD pipeline, along with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, containers, and Kubernetes.
