As a Senior IT Application Analyst at FIS, your role will involve advanced technical analysis, application support, and operational oversight for FIS platforms and related enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with business teams, developers, infrastructure, production support, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, support enhancements, and ensure stable, secure, and efficient application performance. Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for FIS applications and related business processes. - Analyze production incidents, defects, processing exceptions, and interface failures to identify root causes and drive resolution. - Gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements for fixes and enhancements. - Support solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production validation. - Monitor application performance, transaction flows, interfaces, and operational trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities. - Investigate data discrepancies, reconciliation breaks, and failed transactions to ensure end-to-end process integrity. - Support inbound and outbound integrations, including API, file-based, and middleware-enabled interfaces. - Validate data mappings, transformation logic, reconciliation rules, and exception-handling processes. - Support incident triage, problem management, escalation, and release readiness activities, including defect tracking, cutover, and stabilization. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, support procedures, control matrices, and issue logs. - Promote automation, establish standards, and pursue ongoing enhancements to minimize manual work and boost system reliability. Qualification Required:
7 years of experience in technical analysis, systems analysis, application support. - 5 years of experience supporting FIS applications, including Treasury and Risk Manager, SWIFT Services, and GetPaid. - Strong experience with production support, data flows, transaction processing, and technical dependency analysis. - Working knowledge of APIs, file interfaces, middleware, data mapping, and reconciliation processes. - Experience with testing, defect management, release coordination, and post-production support. - Strong understanding of SDLC, change control, incident management, and operational support processes. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across business and technical teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams. The company prefers candidates with experience in financial services, banking platform, fintech, payments, banking technology, or transaction-processing environments. Exposure to various banking file formats, enterprise monitoring tools, Agile methodologies, and banking standards like BAI, MT940, CAMT52 would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities:
