Lead full-cycle deal execution on active mandates, including initial structuring, creating investor materials, due diligence, term negotiation, documentation, and closure
Own and maintain direct relationships with investors, including family offices, institutional funds, and high net-worth individuals
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing founder expectations, handling escalations, and keeping all parties aligned throughout the deal lifecycle
Drive business development at the sector level by identifying high-growth target companies, developing outreach strategies, and converting pipeline into mandates
Manage and develop a team of 23 Associates, prioritizing their work, reviewing their output, and building their capabilities over time
Track deals and manage the pipeline across all active workstreams, proactively identifying risks, managing timelines, and preventing deal stalling
Lead due diligence processes, including structuring the data room, coordinating management Q&As, synthesizing findings, and flagging commercial and structural risks
Produce and present investment collateral such as investment teasers, investor circulation materials, strategic buyer and PE identification, and deal execution materials at the standard required for institutional audiences
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA/PGDM from a premier institution, or CA with equivalent deal depth and experience
47 years of experience in investment banking, PE advisory, or transaction advisory, with consideration for Big 4 TAS backgrounds
Proven track record of independently leading deal transactions, with expertise in financial modeling, peer comps, valuation, and industry analysis
Ability to manage client and investor relationships independently, demonstrating clear and precise written communication skills
Strong familiarity with definitive documentation such as SHA, SPA, and term sheets
