As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you will lead the development of mobile applications that power our TVision panel, enabling always-on, privacy-conscious measurement of how real people watch and engage with video content. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of mobile engineering, data collection, and advanced measurement systems—partnering closely with data science, backend engineering, and panel operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly applications that transform raw behavioral data into actionable insights for advertisers. THE DAY-TO-DAY
Design and build cross-platform mobile applications that power TVision’s audience measurement panel across iOS and Android
Partner with data scientists and measurement engineers to implement continuous, second-by-second activity tracking and content recognition features
Collaborate with device and panel operations teams to deliver a seamless mobile experience for panelists, including device health monitoring and account management
Develop intuitive, accessible user interfaces that improve engagement and usability for diverse panel audiences
Ensure high reliability and uptime through robust testing, monitoring, and performance optimization
Implement secure data collection frameworks that uphold strict privacy and compliance standards for personally identifiable information
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction as a senior member of the mobile engineering team
Work cross-functionally with backend engineers to integrate APIs, data pipelines, and real-time measurement systems
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years building mobile applications across iOS and Android
Strong understanding of mobile platform architecture, performance optimization, and cross-platform development patterns
Experience working with backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines (Python-based environments a plus)
Familiarity with user interface design, usability testing, and accessibility best practices
Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and privacy controls for sensitive user data
Exposure to browser-based front-end development or full-stack environments
