We are looking for an Application Support Engineer for Chennai location, to join our company. In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with peace of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers' port calls as efficient and safe as possible. Who you are: You are a mid-level Salesforce professional comfortable working across both support and development workstreams. You can independently diagnose and resolve production issues and contribute meaningfully to development tasks. What you will be doing: Provide application support for production environments, resolving incidents and issues Independently Diagnose issues using Salesforce logs, Developer Console, Workbench, and monitoring tools Work on defect fixes, enhancements, and custom development tasks (Apex, LWC, Flows) Collaborate with development, release, and platform teams to resolve issues end-to-end Maintain accurate ticket updates, documentation, and SOPs Participate in incident reviews and continuous improvement activities Required experience and skills: 6+ years of Salesforce development and/or application support experience Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL Good understanding of Salesforce security model and production environments Comfortable working across support and development workstreams Good communication and collaboration skills Preferred Certifications Salesforce Platform Developer I Salesforce Certified Administrator Sounds interesting?
