As a senior Level III IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting acquired professionals from various global M&As. This role involves working in a globally distributed team of IT specialists to assess the IT infrastructure of newly acquired organizations, address identified gaps, and support remediation efforts. Additionally, you will provide operational support during the transition and integration phases to ensure stability and continuity of services until the environment is fully integrated into steady-state operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing Level 2 / Level 3 operational support for infrastructure, applications, and end-user services within newly acquired organizations during the integration phase. - Ensuring service stability, availability, and continuity from acquisition close through handover to steady-state IT operations. - Owning and resolving incidents and service requests in the team's ServiceNow resolver groups according to defined SLAs and ticket-handling policies. - Performing triage, impact assessment, root cause analysis, resolution, escalation, and communication until closure. - Providing technical assistance and hands-on support for M&As, including issues related to workstations, servers, accounts, access privileges, and other items within the team's scope. - Acting as a point of contact during critical incidents to ensure effective communication across operational teams, M&A IT teams, and stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include:
5-8 years of experience at the level of L2/L3 support specialist. - Experience managing IT environments for mid to large international organizations, including providing direct client-facing/end-user support. - Strong understanding and support for networking, security, backup/storage, identity management, servers, and workstations. - Experience in documenting systems, services, and processes, as well as creating network diagrams, rack diagrams, policies, and procedures. - Knowledge of IT project management practices. - Proficiency in Microsoft's product line-up, including collaboration and documentation tools. - Experience working in a customer-focused end-user support function covering multiple aspects of IT infrastructure. - In-depth knowledge of Microsoft's ecosystem of enterprise products. - Prior experience with Active Directory, Azure, and applications like Zscalar.
