Must-Haves
JD and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar. - Minimum 7 years of litigation experience at a top law firm and/or in-house, including complex commercial, IP, or copyright matters. - Demonstrated experience working in or with the music industry
Substantive copyright knowledge — comfortable with infringement frameworks, fair use, DMCA, and statutory damages analysis. - Track record managing outside counsel, budgets, and case strategy across the lifecycle of a dispute. - Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to take a complex record and turn it into a clear strategic recommendation for non-lawyers. - Sharp business judgment and a low-ego, hands-on approach to working across an organization. - Comfort with pace and change, intellectual curiosity about AI and music technology, and high integrity.
Experience managing or substantively participating in both U.S. and European litigation. - Prior in-house experience at an AI/ML, content platform, or music company. - Familiarity with class action and mass arbitration dynamics. - Experience with privacy, employment, or trust-and-safety disputes. - Experience supporting a pre-IPO company or IPO process. ## Work Location Policy
This role is expected to work from the designated Suno office 5 days a week, per Suno's company policy. Full-time employees will receive competitive equity packages, and comprehensive benefits.
