**Job Description**
**Role Overview:**
As a KYC Analyst (Transaction Due Diligence) at DWS Group in Pune, India, you will be responsible for assisting the bank's clients in managing all KYC and account opening requirements with appropriate governance and controls. You will operate in an environment of strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation Level Agreements (OLAs) to ensure accurate and timely account opening for retail clients. Your primary focus will be on performing transaction AML due diligence reviews across the Alternatives/Illiquid investment platform, with a specific focus on Alternatives Credit Europe (ACE). **Key Responsibilities:**
Perform transaction AML due diligence reviews on the Alternatives/Illiquid investment platform
Outreach to business for any documentation inconsistencies or gaps
Report issues and progress in a time-efficient manner
Escalate and liaise with relevant second-line functions
Daily reporting of AML findings to the respective AFC functions
Verify client data and perform due diligence of new and existing Institutional clients
Verify KYC documentation of clients to be adopted/reviewed
Perform risk assessment of clients to be adopted/reviewed
Sign off on new client adoptions and conduct regular reviews
Manage New Client Adoption or Regular Review stream to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Prepare timely reports and MIS for various stakeholders
**Qualifications Required:**
Graduate (preferably in Commerce/Business management) with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant operations experience
Financial services/banking experience, including KYC/Financial Crimes Compliance experience
Sound understanding of the investment transaction process in Asset Management, particularly in Alternative/Illiquid strategies
Knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines, including sanctions implications for financial institutions
Ability to multitask, communicate effectively with senior staff, and work purposefully under pressure
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Understanding of Control, Compliance, Investigation/chasing functions in banks
Ability to interpret alerts, identify trends and inconsistencies, and understand the end-to-end KYC process
