Key Responsibilities:
Directly manage Key Account(s) in accordance with agreed targets, goals, and company guidelines, eliciting customer needs and selling key products and services. - Negotiate rates with customers in alignment with business units, ensuring documented and maintained rate sheets. - Ensure compliance with sales management processes and systems, updating CRM accurately and promptly. - Monitor monthly performance against set targets, taking immediate actions to address deviations. - Develop account plans based on internal processes and templates, signed off by the respective sales manager. - Hand over and transition new business into operations effectively to meet customer requirements and company commitments. - Conduct regular and structured review sessions with assigned customers, focusing on continuous improvement, innovation, and review of customer strategy and priorities for operational excellence. Qualifications Required:
Minimum 810 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the freight forwarding industry. - Experience in developing SME and national accounts across sectors. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market share in a competitive environment. - Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
