About the role Xylem is looking for a Service Technician to join our team in Kalgoorlie. This is full-time, locally based role – no FIFO. You will perform both scheduled and emergency service work, including the disassembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and inspection of a variety of Xylem systems and products. Duties · Service, repair and overhaul pump sets and related equipment · Install, test and commission pumps to operational standards before dispatch · Respond to emergency breakdowns and scheduled field service across Goldfields region · Communicate expert service advice to customers and internal teams · Prepare and maintain accurate service records and documentation Skiles & Experience · Trade qualification — fitter and turner, mech fitter, mechanic, small engine mechanic or electrical trades (essential) · Prior workshop or field service experience in a similar mechanical role · Exposure to pump systems or heavy mechanical equipment (preferred) · MR licence and forklift ticket (desirable) · Strong attention to detail and customer communication skills Culture At Xylem, our purpose-driven culture is focused on solving water challenges through innovation and collaboration.
