As the Head of Marketing at our Hyderabad-based EV startup, your role will involve being the architect of the brand and the driver of demand. You will need to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution to build brand love, generate qualified leads, and establish a category-defining presence for our EV products and ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing the end-to-end marketing strategy aligned with business goals such as awareness, launch, demand, and retention
Building, mentoring, and leading a multidisciplinary marketing team covering digital, content, brand, performance, and PR/communications
Defining and managing the annual marketing budget to ensure optimal ROI across all channels
Establishing KPIs, analytics frameworks, and reporting systems to measure and optimize campaign performance
Crafting a compelling brand identity, positioning, and narrative that resonates with Indian consumers and B2B partners
Leading the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and launch campaign for new products and variants
Owning the customer acquisition funnel from top-of-funnel awareness to purchase conversion
Designing and executing multi-channel campaigns across digital, performance marketing, and traditional channels
Overseeing the creation of high-impact content (video, blogs, reviews, testimonials) to educate and inspire about EV adoption
Developing hyper-local marketing strategies for Hyderabad and other launch cities, including community events, test rides, and experiential activations
Collaborating with Sales and Retail teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from marketing to purchase
Qualifications and Experience required for this role include:
5 years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of building brands and driving growth for consumer products, automotive, durables, or tech hardware in India
Hands-on experience in launching new products and managing full-funnel marketing campaigns
Deep expertise in digital marketing, performance marketing, and marketing analytics
Strong creative and analytical abilities with experience managing agencies and budgets
Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
Based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad
Good-to-have qualifications include:
Experience in EV, automotive, or mobility sectors
Understanding of the manufacturing/retail marketing cycle for high-consideration products
Experience with both B2C and B2B marketing
Network within automotive/media/sustainability circles in India
