Executive Assistant, Global Media & Entertainment, Advertising and Corporate Development (GMAC) FP&A

Amazon is seeking a bright, multi-tasking, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to join the Global Media & Entertainment, Advertising and Corporate Development (GMAC) FP&A organization to support multiple Directors. The Executive Assistant will have a proven track record of being a self starter, the ability to establish credibility, and be able work independently to deliver results that exceed expectations. The team requires someone who looks around corners to plan ahead on behalf of the organization and who serves as a firm and steady anchor to ensure that the team remains customer focused while balancing the many different priorities that come into play on a daily basis. This role requires great attention to detail, the ability to meet or exceed tight deadlines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to calmly juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is critical, as is a good sense of humor. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, have a strong sense of emotional intelligence, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles and responsibilities is important as this position will work closely with other Executive Assistants across Amazon. You will be able to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.
