As a Senior Applications Developer in the banking industry, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing highly scalable lending applications to support enterprise-grade workloads. Your responsibilities will include:
Partnering with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions and identifying necessary system enhancements for deploying new products and process improvements. - Designing and developing robust, scalable software solutions that meet performance, security, and availability standards. - Leading the end-to-end design and hands-on development of scalable, cloud-ready applications. - Resolving high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and system processes. - Providing expertise in areas of applications programming and ensuring application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint. - Developing comprehensive knowledge of how different areas of business integrate to achieve business goals. - Providing in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions. - Serving as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts. Qualifications required for this role:
8-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role. - Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications. - Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development for Banking Payments and Deposits. - Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. - Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate. - Expertise in building microservices, REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, SOAP integrations. - Experience with RDBMS (SQL, PL/SQL), NoSQL databases, caching (Redis), OAuth2, and API security best practices. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree preferred.
