In this role, you will provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across enterprise data initiatives, helping design scalable and modern data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. You’ll work closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to evaluate existing systems, define future-state architecture, and lead data transformation efforts across complex environments. This role combines strategic architecture planning with hands-on technical expertise to ensure data platforms are scalable, secure, maintainable, and optimized for long-term growth. You’ll play a key role in shaping enterprise data strategy and establishing best practices across data ecosystems. Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
10+ years of experience in data architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise data management
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions
Strong understanding of data architecture principles and design methodologies
Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration strategies
Experience with enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems
Knowledge of data governance and data lifecycle best practices
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting cross-functional technical initiatives
Hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions within Databricks environments
Demonstrated expertise with Databricks Lakehouse architecture, workflows, and enterprise-scale implementation strategies
Eligibility to meet federal contracting and client-specific work authorization requirements is required. Due to project requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS and cloud-native data architecture
Experience with data lakes, warehouses, and distributed data systems
Familiarity with advanced analytics or machine learning environments
Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives
Experience with architecture frameworks and documentation tools
Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $165,900 to $200,000 annually. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
