- **Core Finance & Accounting**:
- Taking ownership of end-to-end accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting. - Ensuring accuracy of books in compliance with Ind AS / IFRS. - Managing audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance. - Overseeing revenue recognition, expenses, payroll, ESOP accounting, and vendor payments. - **Controls & Scale**:
- Establishing strong financial controls, policies, and SOPs suitable for a scaling startup. - Improving processes, systems, and automation (ERP, reporting tools). - Collaborating with business teams to maintain financial discipline while supporting growth. - **IPO & Growth Readiness**:
- Assisting the CFO in IPO planning and readiness, including financial statements, controls, and documentation. - Coordinating with auditors, bankers, and advisors during due diligence processes. - Preparing financial data for investors, the Board, and future regulators to ensure the company is always "audit-ready". **Qualifications Required**:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or masters degree in commerce is mandatory. - 8-14 years of experience in controllership, audit, or startup finance. - Experience in startup, high-growth, or pre-IPO environments is preferred. - Exposure to IPOs and fundraising will be a strong advantage. - Strong ownership mindset and comfort with hands-on work are essential.
