As an ERP Project Manager with expertise in Oracle/SAP and Workfront, you will be responsible for leading comprehensive system implementations within a manufacturing environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing end-to-end implementation of Oracle or SAP ERP systems. - Collaborating with IT and business leaders to prepare and execute comprehensive project plans, encompassing all stages of the ERP lifecycle. - Ensuring rigorous planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of ERP projects, aligning with business objectives and operational needs. - Developing and controlling project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project deliverables on time and within cost constraints. - Conducting detailed risk management assessments and implementing effective mitigation strategies. - Maintaining constant communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates and adjustments to the project scope and timelines as necessary. - Managing the integration of ERP systems with existing business processes and systems, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. - Leading and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new ERP systems and processes across the organization. - Translating complex project details into simple, clear, and actionable statuses to ensure understanding across all stakeholder groups. - Planning and overseeing the comprehensive testing of new ERP systems to ensure functionality and performance meet business requirements. - Administering and supporting Adobe Workfront (or equivalent PPM platform), including user management, configuration of custom workflows and templates, troubleshooting system issues, and training end users to ensure optimal adoption and performance. In addition to the above responsibilities, this position requires up to 40% travel to various project sites, including potential international locations, to manage implementations and collaborate with local teams. Technical Knowledge/Skills Required:
Extensive experience in managing full lifecycle ERP implementations, particularly with Oracle or SAP, within a manufacturing context. - Strong understanding of the entire ERP process flow, including order processing, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, shipping, and invoicing. - Proficiency in project management tools and software, with a focus on those that support ERP system implementations - Adobe Workfront, MS Project. - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems, identify potential issues, and design effective solutions. - Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies within large-scale projects. Non-Technical Knowledge/Skills Required:
Exceptional communication skills, capable of working with and presenting to stakeholders at all levels. - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide, influence, and motivate teams across various departments. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. - Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. - Skilled in distilling complex issues into clear, concise, and easily understandable communications. Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience as an IT project manager, with significant focus on end-to-end ERP implementations in the manufacturing sector. - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline. - PMP certifications are highly regarded but not mandatory.
