Staff Software Engineer (Frontend), Infra

The role

In this role, you will:

• Fix core reliability issues: error boundaries, state management, data consistency. - Optimize performance: virtualization for large datasets, bundle optimization, render performance. - Build monitoring and observability to catch issues before users do. - Establish testing strategies that prevent regressions. - Create abstractions and patterns that help engineers ship faster without breaking things. - Drive technical decisions and mentor the team through complex migrations. Background we’re looking for:

• 7+ years building frontend applications at scale. - Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern build tooling. - Track record of fixing production performance issues at scale. - Strong opinions on frontend architecture, backed by experience. - NYC-based, in office 3 days/week. Background we’d be particularly excited about:

• Experience with discovery systems, search use cases, recommendation systems (CRM, ATS, etc.), or anything that helps index, document, and make data available for use. - Exposure to venture capital, private markets, or company intelligence data. Pay:

$210-280k Salary + Equity depending on the level
