YouGov Shopper is a permanent tracking that allows FMCG clients and retailers to have a complete understanding of shopper behavior. With consumer panel household data it is possible to deep dive Consumer and Shopper knowledge, categories and brands performance drivers, diagnosis of purchase behavior and trends. You will be working for the main FMCG manufacturers operating in the Italian market. We are currently seeking a Junior Analyst Intern who will be a part of the Shopper team. The role includes data analysis and interpretation, prompt response to client delivering insights. Here's a breakdown of what you'll do: Define adequate Analyses design. Responsible for providing all types of insight deliveries to clients in tight collaboration with sales team. Build solutions colleges can benefit from. Constantly improving our data ad process quality. Proactive and independent problem solving (finds solutions for business problems), not just execution of tasks. If applicable: is responsible for project management tasks. Key activities: Analytics Specialist Creates the adequate research design. Provides input for designing statistical analyses and setting up efficient processes. Project Execution Proactively develops mechanisms for automation (programming of routines, automated data checks) – main objectives are quality improvement, reduction of error rates – across teams or if necessary across divisions. Analysis & Reporting Creates complex client studies for reporting purposes or detailed customer requests. Analyses data and trends in data using various tools in order to generate insights for the client Develops presentation charts and client reports with corresponding insights which reply the client's questions. Promotes automation processes and develops efficient ways to create client deliverables such as excel tables, PPT slides, databases etc. (e.g. auto-charting, ThinkCell). Client Management Client interaction especially as an expert. Basic skill in managing client relationship with sales team. These are the essentials for having an interview: Preferred higher education (Economics, Marketing, Management, Sociology, Psychology, Statistic, Quantitative Methods). Native/ Bilingual Italian. Very good knowledge of spoken and written English (at least B2). Ability to think analytically and analyze data and derive operational recommendations internally/externally. Curiosity and inquisitiveness. Self-reliance, responsibility, ability to work in a team. Good knowledge of preparing sheets in MS Excel and presentations in MS Power Point. Willingness to develop and grow in the field of market research, constant improvement of the tool workshop. Interest in the FMCG industry or work experience in research agency will be an additional advantage. We offer a 6-month paid internship with hybrid working arrangement. Why join YouGov?
