As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous delivery of the product through automation. Your responsibilities will include:
Building and automating using Rest Assured/Selenium to maintain a robust software. - Executing scripts/tests to validate the functionality of the product. - Monitoring and tracking the resolution of defects, and effectively communicating them in daily standups. - Performing manual test cases, analyzing results, checking logs, data in the database, and reporting issues in a bug tracking system. - Conducting exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by formal test cases. - Collaborating with the quality, development, and field teams to ensure product quality and usability. In order to excel in this role, you need to meet the following requirements:
4 to 7 years of experience in automation language, tools, and scripts such as Java, Selenium, or TestCafe, Postman. - Good knowledge of SQL or no-SQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.). - Experience in API and/or backend testing. - Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
