As a Senior IT Business Analyst specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions (MA&D) Functional Integration at Medtronic, your primary responsibility is to support teams and stakeholders in successfully executing IT application initiatives in a complex and evolving business environment. Your role involves coordinating tasks related to applications, conducting business analysis, evaluating options, monitoring project progress, and ensuring consistent communication among stakeholders throughout the MA&D process. Key Responsibilities:
Engage with business leaders to identify strategies and data-driven changes that can enhance efficiencies and create value. - Utilize data sets to define use cases for enhancing products, processes, and services. - Collaborate with Business Relationship Manager, business stakeholders, and IT Product Owners/Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes. - Drive the business agenda during the solution delivery process. - Analyze data and trends to develop recommendations for solving business problems. - Conduct thorough IT due diligence to understand the technology infrastructure, systems, applications, and data of both acquiring and target companies. - Coordinate integration activities across enterprise applications including SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Concur, and Salesforce. - Assist in conducting business analysis by gathering and documenting requirements for application-related changes and integrations. - Develop a comprehensive IT integration plan aligning with the overall business integration strategy. - Support the integration of IT systems including SAP ECC, S4HANA, Workday, Concur, Vendavo, SFDC, Compliance, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing systems. - Assist in test planning and execution, managing defects, and ensuring seamless communication between systems. - Identify and resolve integration challenges related to system compatibility, data flows, and user access. - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and build effective partnerships with IT Sr. Leaders, Corporate Development, and Program Management Leadership. - Track project progress and update documentation using tools such as Excel, JIRA, and MS Project. - Assist with planning cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support activities. - Collaborate with training and change management teams to support end-user readiness. - Prepare communication materials and executive updates summarizing project status, risks, milestones, and key decisions. Qualifications Required:
7+ years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or application-related roles with a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, MCA, or MSc. - 5+ years of project and program management experience. - Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills. - Familiarity with project management tools such as Excel, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Smartsheet. - Ability to understand and address business problems effectively. - Proven ability to work as a team player, delivering quality results within defined timelines. - Understanding of application lifecycle processes and system integration concepts. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
