As a Director of Business Development & Partnerships at Gram Vaani, you will play a crucial role in building commercial and strategic partnerships with leading organizations in the social impact space. Your main responsibility will be to scale Gram Vaani's footprint in targeted sectors and geographies by leveraging your experience and network within the ecosystem. You will work closely with the core team and report to the Chief Executive Officer to drive the growth and impact vision forward. Key Responsibilities:
Work with the management team and key stakeholders to formulate Gram Vaani's long-term product, technology, and sustainability roadmap. - Interact with clients, internal teams, partners, and communities to identify and solve key problem areas in line with the organization's impact-first objectives. - Develop suitable commercial and sustainability models, pricing strategies, and expansion plans for the organization's core product offerings. - Execute strategies focusing on business growth and impact through partnerships and collaborations. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities nationally and internationally through market research and analysis. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, clients, partners, and investors. Qualifications Required:
15+ years of work experience in Business Development & Partnership roles, with at least 3-5 years in leadership positions. - Experience in technology (ICT4D) for development or related sectors is preferred. - Master's degree in business administration, marketing, or related fields. - Proven track record of building partnerships and leading programs with strong negotiation skills. - Experience in targeted marketplaces focusing on rural markets such as Microfinance, Fintech, Healthcare, Agriculture, etc. - Ability to blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling visions for success. - Strong executive presence with excellent presentation skills in formal and informal settings. - Proven ability to achieve targets and drive revenue in a high-growth environment.
