As an In-House Architect & Project Manager for Restaurant Development, your role will involve leading the planning, design coordination, and execution of new restaurant projects and refurbishments. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with brand standards, operational requirements, and local regulations. Your main tasks will include:
Leading architectural planning for new restaurant openings and renovations
Adapting and implementing standard restaurant design concepts across multiple sites
Ensuring that layouts meet operational requirements and brand consistency
Managing projects from site handover to restaurant opening
Coordinating all consultants and contractors involved in the projects
Liaising with landlords, authorities, and utilities providers for approvals and compliance
Ensuring compliance with local building codes, health regulations, and fire safety standards
Developing and maintaining standard templates and guidelines for restaurant rollouts
To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors Degree in Architecture and be a Registered/Licensed Architect with 710+ years of experience in architectural design and project delivery, preferably in restaurant, hospitality, retail, or F&B fit-outs. Skills required include strong leadership, excellent planning and time management, and effective communication with stakeholders. It is preferred if you have experience in chain restaurant rollouts, knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and/or Primavera, and exposure to central kitchen or commissary projects. This role is critical for supporting business expansion by ensuring faster restaurant rollouts, consistent brand execution, reduced site errors, and strong coordination between design and construction.
