As an Executive - NE Sales at Otis in Hyderabad, India, your role involves knowing, developing, and maintaining the elevator market and Otis growth. This includes forecasting and target setting, meeting customers to assess their requirements, developing and increasing the customer database, establishing product strategy, identifying key persons in major customer organizations, keeping customers informed about product development and literature, conducting market surveys, and staying knowledgeable about competitors with a special focus on major projects. Key Responsibilities:
Generate inquiries and finalize orders by preparing sales negotiation data sheets, model elevator proposals, and tenders. Attend prebid meetings, tender openings, negotiation meetings, and follow up on proposals and tenders to negotiate and finalize orders. - Manage contracts by preparing documents such as layout requests, changes in contracts, finalized layouts, and coordinating with internal customers at various stages of the contract until the final payment is collected and the handover ceremony is performed. - Support the sales and marketing function by providing suggestions for organizing, feedback and presentations on the market, industry competitors, making presentations to internal customers, updating oneself on company policies and sales procedures, and handling any other special assignments. - Participate in EH&S training, conduct inspections, audits, ensure EH&S rules and procedures are followed by all employees. Qualifications Required:
Experience in sales, contract management, and customer relationship building. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. - Knowledge of the elevator industry and market trends.
