Key Responsibilities:
Provide dynamic leadership to support the global finance organization and oversee a local US accounting team. - Lead and scale accounting operations in a complex and high-growth environment, optimizing key functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, Cash Management, and Treasury. - Manage consolidations in a global environment, review monthly segmented management financials, and consolidated financials in accordance with GAAP. - Supervise full-cycle accounts payable, including reviewing and validating all disbursements. - Develop and maintain accounting policies, coordinate annual financial reviews with external auditors, and oversee indirect tax compliance globally. - Drive transformation and efficiencies in controls and accounting systems by evaluating, implementing, and scaling AI and automation tools across the finance function. - Identify and deploy AI-powered solutions for invoice processing, cash application, reconciliation, and anomaly detection to reduce manual effort and accelerate month-end close. - Lead the integration of machine learning models for demand forecasting, inventory valuation, and predictive analytics to support proactive financial decision-making. - Automate routine reporting workflows using RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI-assisted tools to allow the team to focus on strategic analysis and business partnering. - Evaluate and implement AI copilots and large language model (LLM) tools to enhance financial analysis, audit preparation, and internal controls monitoring. - Partner with IT and data teams to build a modern, AI-ready finance technology stack, including ERP optimization and integration with AI/ML platforms. - Establish governance frameworks for AI usage within the finance function to ensure data integrity, auditability, and compliance with regulatory standards. - Maintain and build budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making, leveraging AI-enhanced forecasting where applicable. - Develop standard costing models to improve inventory accounting and provide margin analysis to cross-functional partners. - Establish, implement, manage, and monitor critical accounting and reporting policies, processes, and associated metrics. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred. - 812 years of progressive experience with consolidations in a multiple legal entity environment, including review of monthly segmented management financials and consolidated financials in accordance with GAAP. - Experience in apparel, consumer goods, or other inventory-intensive industries with a strong understanding of cost accounting, landed cost, and multi-channel margin dynamics. - Ability to drive transformation and efficiencies in controls and accounting systems. - Experience in leading and scaling accounting operations in a complex and high-growth environment, with a proven track record in optimizing accounting operations. - Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills. - Commitment to regular in-office attendance Monday through Friday with an executive demeanor to effectively support the team and operations.
