Ammonia Technician

Al Hatab Foods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ammonia Technician to manage the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ammonia-based refrigeration systems in a large-scale food manufacturing facility. The role involves working with glycol networks and SCADA-controlled systems to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance. Operate, maintain, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems (compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves) Monitor and control system performance using SCADA systems Manage glycol cooling loops integrated with ammonia systems Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults Replace and maintain critical components (compressors, bearings, coils, sensors, transmitters, HMI, etc.) Maintain logs of system performance and maintenance activities Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Coordinate with engineering and production teams for efficiency improvements
