Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for the risk management operations of the company, including integrating risk concepts into strategic planning and identifying and mitigating risks. - Responsible for managing various risks such as Financial, Technology, Brand, Reputational, Legal, Business, Statutory & Regulatory, Compliance, Strategy, Program, Innovation, and Operational risk. - Create an integrated risk framework for the entire organization and assess risk throughout the organization, quantifying risk limits. - Design and implement methods for avoiding potential threats using available risk metric software and personal industry knowledge. - Deliver regular risk analysis reports to company executives with actionable plans for avoiding or preventing potential threats at all levels. - Advise on directing capital to projects based on risk and monitor the progress of risk mitigation activities. - Create and disseminate risk measurements and reports, communicate the risk profile of the business to key stakeholders. - Develop insurance strategies and financing techniques to deal with any unanticipated losses appropriately. - Oversee all audits of accounting practices, safety measures, and compliance reports, conducting regular risk assessments either through a team of risk management experts or personally. - Manage and prepare all documentation related to risk assessments and reviews of standard operating procedures. Qualifications Required:
Extensive knowledge of finance and insurance strategies to build preventative measures against potential losses. - Proven leadership and managerial skills, able to take charge and act assertively without guidance. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Knowledge of risk analysis, database management, risk metrics, and capital management. - Strong knowledge of control frameworks, ability to design and evaluate the effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes. - Knowledge of risk and governance standards, Corporate Governance Principles, legal requirements, and compliance regulations. - Strong interpersonal skills to manage large teams. - Problem-solving abilities and willingness to take risks. - Proficiency in risk management, auditing techniques, and accounting standards and principles. Role Overview: You will work proactively in identifying internal and external risks, building robust internal controls, and reporting on risks that impact direct and indirect processes and policies. Your understanding of various processes will help in identifying emerging risks and multi-country laws and regulations to build proper controls.
