As a Business Intelligence Consultant at EQ, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of impactful dashboards and visualizations. Your role will involve understanding fundamentals of data preparation and data modeling, gathering reporting requirements, designing intuitive and interactive reports, and optimizing dashboards for data-driven decisions. You will need to have strong client handling experience, excellent communication skills, and sharp analytical abilities to support our analytical business needs. Key Responsibilities:
Understand fundamentals of data preparation/data modeling necessary for visualization purpose. - Gather reporting requirements from various stakeholders, architect the solution/report, understand/analyze the source data, and deliver reports in a timely manner. - Design intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or ServiceNow for data-driven decisions. - Monitor performance, fine-tune, and optimize dashboards. - Connect to multiple data sources through Power BI and/or ServiceNow. - Publish and share dashboards, schedule data refreshes. - Handle complexity around visualization or data. - Utilize strong SQL skills, preferably over SQL Server, and have a good understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts. - Experience with ETL tools, preferably SSIS, is a plus. - Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents. - Understand Power BI and/or ServiceNow user and group security configuration.
