Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example to drive proactive continual improvement by automating manual work, monitoring improvements, and maintaining platform hygiene. - Conduct technical analysis of the Production platform to identify and resolve performance and resiliency issues. - Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance Production Standards and controls. - Update the RUN Book and KEDB as required and participate in all BCP and component failure tests. - Understand the flow of data through the application infrastructure to provide effective operational support. - Monitor events and manage them via a 24x7 workbench, ensuring compliance with knowledge management practices. - Collaborate with team members to identify training needs and improve incident resolution processes. Qualifications Required:
Recent experience in applying technical solutions to enhance production environment stability. - Proficiency in operating systems like UNIX and Windows, middleware technologies, database environments, automation, monitoring, and data analytics tools, as well as scripting languages. - Familiarity with incident and project management tools such as Service Now, JIRA, and ITIL Service Management framework. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in virtual teams. - At least 7 years of experience in IT, preferably in controlled production environments or Financial Services Technology. - Exposure to Service Operations, Development, Global Transaction Banking, end-to-end application support, and best practice service contexts. - Knowledge of DevOps, Scrum, SRE concepts, and GCP would be beneficial. - Experience in disaster recovery, release and deployment activities, SLA and OLA management, and working with agile methodologies. Role Overview: You will be operating within Corporate Bank Production domain or in Corporate Banking subdivisions as a Production Support Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to drive a culture of proactive continual improvement into the Production environment through automation of manual work, monitoring improvements, and ensuring platform hygiene.
