Viant’s TVision team is building the next generation of TV and video audience measurement, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like computer vision, audio recognition, and network analysis to capture second-by-second viewing and attention data. As part of Viant’s broader AI-powered DSP ecosystem, this work directly fuels more accurate measurement, optimization, and performance for advertisers across CTV and omnichannel campaigns. In this role, you will develop the mobile applications that power our in-home measurement panel, enabling continuous, privacy-conscious data collection and seamless panelist experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, backend engineers, and device operations teams to transform complex measurement capabilities into reliable, user-friendly mobile solutions. THE DAY-TO-DAY
Build and maintain mobile applications that power TVision’s audience measurement panel across iOS and Android
Partner with data science and measurement teams to implement always-on, high-fidelity activity tracking
Collaborate with device and panel operations teams to support device health monitoring and panelist management workflows
Design and improve intuitive, accessible user interfaces that enhance panelist engagement and retention
Integrate mobile apps with backend services and APIs supporting data collection and system orchestration
Ensure application reliability through testing, code reviews, and proactive monitoring
Uphold strict standards for data privacy, security, and consent management across all user interactions
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve app performance and stability
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of mobile application development experience (iOS and/or Android)
Strong understanding of cross-platform mobile architectures and development best practices
Experience working with backend APIs and data systems (Python-based environments a plus)
Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, JavaScript)
Experience with user experience design, usability testing, or accessibility best practices
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and privacy controls for user data
